GSI has built numerous retention ponds throughout 5 states, each in compliance to the civil engineer’s exacting mandates regarding slope and dep.
Storm Drains and Retention System
Storm drainage systems include ditches, catch basins, culverts, pipes and precast structures that assist in diverting excess rainwater from water-resistant surfaces safely back into the local waterways. GSI has over 36 experience constructing nearly every type of storm system.
Underground Storm water Storage Systems
Underground storm water storage systems capture and store storm water runoff from surrounding water-resistant areas like parking lots and large commercial buildings. The runoff is collected and cleaned through specialized inlets and held in subsurface chambers that allow the water to infiltrate into the natural waters via outlet structures at rates similar to that of pre-construction. This helps to limit flooding and to naturally recharge groundwater aquifers.
